Don’t Let 2025 End Without an Intentional Conversation

What?

As 2025 draws to a close, it’s easy to let the busyness and bustle of the holidays carry us straight into 2026 without ever pausing for a meaningful conversation with our spouse. Yet so much has happened this past year that is worth talking about. Liz and I loved spending a few minutes (when we had them) and a few hours (when we found them) going through intentional conversation prompts.

Why?

We believe God is actively at work in our lives—growing us, revealing Christ in our marriage, and building joy in our home. Philippians 1:6 reminds us that this work continues in our marriage until the day we see Jesus together.

What a beautiful hope: one day, we will stand before God completed—perfected, sinless, healed, and whole. And what an incredible gift right now—to have front-row seats to God’s transforming work in each other’s lives. Together, we are being shaped as a team for His purposes. Slowing down, and reflecting together helps us recognize this grace.
